Walking from a meeting elsewhere on the hill, we ran across a student busily holding color swatches up to old Abe.

One of my companions stopped and asked what she was doing.

"Oh, I'm making a replica of Abe."

I quickly snapped her picture.

As we departed, he remarked that it might be fun to drop in conversation that Abe Lincoln was the paint color "Gettysburg Address Green". Another companion wondered if we might be seeing a partially submerged Abe Lincoln on Lake Mendota this winter. My guess is a Halloween costume.
